Boléro! … and site stuff

It’s the moment you’ve all been waiting for if you’re in the United States and remembered it was a thing: as of the first of January 2025, Boléro is in the public domain worldwide! The copyright expired at the end of 2024 under US law, so now US nerds can join their international nerds in getting their Boléro on!

Also hi. Sorry about the website downtime – we apparently had a few issues with our hosting service, which hopefully have been resolved now.

Also, there haven’t been updates. I was sick for literally more than half of 2024 (not an exaggeration – 7 months, not continuous) and spent the other half catching up on shit I couldn’t do when I was sick. I don’t know what anyone else was up to. Probably cool stuff and not constantly getting sick like a jackass.

I’m still being pulled in many directions at once because of the start of the new year (I put “2025” when writing a date on the first try!), but I HAVE been working on comparisons, and I will keep doing what I can when I can.
