Digimon Adventure (1999)
Synopsis
Seven kids enjoying summer camp find themselves in a blizzard. Soon after, they’re swept away into another dimension known as the Digital World. There, they befriend strange creatures called Digimon and are tasked with saving both that world and their own from evil forces threatening to conquer or destroy both.
Digimon Adventure aired from 1999 to 2000, and was aired by Saban in the U.S. under the title Digimon: Digital Monsters.
Major Changes
Character names remained largely the same, but with nicknames added to several of the characters to make them easier to pronounce in English for the little kids.
